In 1896, our great grandfather, E. Huger Poulnot, opened a Dry Goods store at 92 Hasell Street. Our family has been continuously involved in business enterprises at the site since then. In 2011, sisters Dale and Gene and brother David, spent over four years studying, planning, and permitting. Cornerstone at King Apartments opened in 2014 after a massive and total renovation; including brand new electrical, plumbing, and HVAC mechanicals, appliances, and refinished antique flooring and windows. This adaptive reuse qualified for Historic Credits by the National Park Service for historic buildings.

We are affiliated with Realty One Group Coastal Property Management to professionally manage the leasing of our special apartments. Rikki White and the team are dedicated to making sure your living experience at Cornerstone meets our high standards for security, maintenance, and livability.
